I think that these earrings are lovely. I refer to them as sophisticated bumble bees lol. Although I only used two colors, I use several sized and shaped beads. The smallest beads are size 11/0 and I used yellow luster and black beads. Then I also used size 6/0 yellow beads and yellow bugle beads.
They are 4.25 inches long from the top of of the ear wire curve to the very bottom of the whole earring, and it is 1 inch wide. They have stainless steel ear wires (nickel free, hypoallergenic, tarnish resistant). To get an idea of how long the earrings will be on you, start from where your ear is pierced and measure down.

Let me slow things down a bit and give you the skinny on brick stitching! This is one of the techniques that land under the name of "bead work". It is a process of making earrings by literally stitching beads together with a needle and thread, and in this case the brick stitching comes into it with the way the beads on the - in this case - top of the earrings line up. Brick stitching is my love language! I taught myself to do this particular technique because my mom had always loved these, I remembered them from my childhood. I had a hard time finding them so I just started making them. And no, this is not cheaply made somewhere else and I resell. I make these from stitch to stitch. Each pair of earrings takes me 3+ hours to make, and I love them!
