This pin or tie tack is made with a Queen guitar pick. The guitar pick features an illustration of Freddie Mercury of Queen. I am not sure if I would call it stylized or a caricature, but I guess it doesn't really matter! You can see it, you can decide for you :) It is a real guitar pick.
The pick is 1.25 inches long from the top to bottom and 1 inch at it's widest point. On the back of the pick I secured the pin and used a PVC rubber clutch. I now include both the PVC rubber and the metal backing so that you can use whichever one you want.
