These are made with guitar picks that have a creepy jack o' lantern on them. I would say it is in the scary fashion, but it is still very family friendly :). I used stainless steel chain to dangle the guitar pick from the earwire. The image is on both sides of the pick, so when it swings and moves naturally in your ears the image can always be seen.
They are 3 inches long from the top of the ear wire curve to the very bottom of the whole earring, and they have stainless steel earwires (nickel free, hypoallergenic, tarnish resistant). To get an idea of how long the earrings will be on you, start from where your ear is pierced and measure down.
